Qualifications I have

Most related to teaching at MCSJ is my bachelor degree at the Academy of Fine Arts in Maastricht, the Netherlands. Further I have a lot of self-taught skills, many related to computers. Language-lover.

People I have been

Student (in fact still are), bar lady, employee in a printing and publishing company, ... and more

People I am now

Being the manager of my own business I sometimes think I am schizophrenic. One part is a jewelry designer, another bit of me is graphical designer, and recently I added the profession of webdesigner. It is totally logical for me to combine this to fulfill my creative desires. I am more active this way and I never get tired of it. I am now working on integrating those different skills of me in my jewelry.

People I hope to become...

That old granny still being healthy and active and surprised about the world how it evolves.

Probably learning Japanese at that time...

During the next decade I hope to...

Make my studio a perfect place to work and teach. Invite many people over to work together. Sell my jewelry via my webshop. To be represented by at least 5 galleries with my jewelry, not only Europe. Have exhibitions. Explore. Dance salsa. Meet skilled people (any subject!) and talk to them about their passions. Love (and wear sunscreen...) Make an apple-pie from my own homegrown apples.

Three things I want to do before I die are...

  • Drink tea in Japan. All ceremonies included, preferable during spring time

  • To totally become the person that I am. No hidden parts anymore

  • a balloon trip...

If I had a motto in life it would be...

“You get what you give“

What I like about being involved with MCSJ

The openness for new things and the energy to make it happen.
