What do you enjoy most about teaching your subject

I love mixing media according to the piece I have in mind and am always experimenting with new combinations and incorporating found objects. Metal clay now forms an integral part of my work, providing infinite textural and three dimensional opportunities. It also enables me to engage with a wide range of students with differing ideas and skills to translate their ideas into unique pieces in a very short time with great results.

Your wishes for the coming year

The coming year is always filled with huge promise and so many objectives.  A day rarely passes by without me working on a metal clay or glass project of some sort and I would not want that to change next year.  I would love the world's governments to sort out the financial mess we are all in to give us all more happiness and confidence.  I want to learn more, keep up with new materials and techniques and make more hours in my days to enter competitions, interact with fellow creative people all over the world, and of course make enough money to fund it!!

What you like about being involved with MCSJ

I am so proud to be involved with MCSJ, I have found a group of truly genuine like minded people with high integrity and passion.  I enjoy every single class I take there and can honestly say that the people I meet are a pleasure to meet and have become friends.  I feel I brush off all the cares of the world when entering the valley of the workshop and a whole new peaceful and creative world unfolds.  I will continue to take advantage of all masterclasses and guest tutors to push my own boundaries, what a privilege.
