Polymer Clay Jewellery Class
This is a two day class.
Make a beautiful polymer clay bangle.
Polymer clay is one of the most versatile and dynamic mediums about today with high quality design pieces being produced by artists all over the world. It can be used in conjunction with traditional materials such as silver and gold or incorporated with fibres, ceramics, glass or wood. It is quick and easy to learn the basics but can take a lifetime to explore the possibilities of this colourful-and economical-material. It is, in short, intriguing and addictive - you have been warned!!

This polymer clay bangle is made in several stages using a metal armature for strength and durability. It is the ultimate 'blank canvas' allowing for huge creative scope and exploration using this endlessly fascinating material. Whether you are new to polymer clay or an 'old hand', in this two day class you will be exploring a wide variety of techniques from several types of caning, simple to complex, to fun and fancy kinds of surface design.
Using a combination of these techniques you will be covering the bangles to create your own personal design. Emphasis will be on finishing and polishing the piece to create a stunning end result.
Your tutor for this class will be Debbie Carlton.
