Qualifications I have
Assorted 'O' and 'A' levels taken too long ago to matter. I have a certificate and Bachelor degree in Education, teaching English as a second language and a certificate for jumping out of a plane at 14,000 feet attached to a very attractive New Zealander (I’m very proud of that one)
People I have been
I have been a junior school teacher, sales and marketing person, exhibition and events organiser, fundraiser, sculptor and general rebel without a clue.
People I am now
I now design and make and teach jewellery and I am passionate about this. My hobbies include life drawing, creative writing, cycling when sunny and preferably flat.
Debbie Carlton
Subjects taught:-
Off the Cuff - Make a Polymer Clay Bangle
People I imagine I have been in a previous life.
Probably third peasant from the back doffing my cap, but hopefully the tall, elegant, beautiful princess gracefully acknowledging said peasant.
During the next decade I hope to...
Grow slightly older disgracefully.
Three things I want to do before I die are...
- Play jazz piano at the Albert Hall
- Douglas Adams invented the Babel Fish; I want to make it a reality
- Solve world poverty ..stupid
If I had a motto in life it would be...
Corny but true..treat everyone else as you would like to be treated yourself.
What I like about being involved with MCSJ
