This is a two day advanced level metal clay workshop.
Shadow boxes are a great way to let your creativity run wild. The options for what you put inside your shadow box are limited only by its size so we encourage you to be creative in looking for small found objects that will fit into your 25mm box.
In this two day workshop you will learn how to construct a round shaped box from metal clay and use construction and beveling techniques to assemble their shadow boxes.
You'll also learn simple carving techniques to create custom branch bails.
Using two part mold compound you'll create textures and make molds of the tiny treasures that will be housed inside your shadow box. Other shapes of shadow boxes will be discussed.
