This is a two day intermediate level metal clay workshop.

Organic forms are a favourite for jewellery artists and metal clay allows us to make some fantastical forms quickly and easily.

In this two day workshop you will learn a variety of different ways to construct hollow forms from metal clay. You'll explore using polymer forms as a doming tool to make custom shapes. You'll also construct hollow form focal beads or pendants using free form wire armatures.

Discussions will include using cork clay, paper clay and wood clay as a medium to build hollow forms. You will learn dry construction techniques and simple carving techniques to decorate your creations.
