Quiet schoolgirl, unruly student, forgettable waitress. Have worked in factories, shops and universities. Favourite job description: "Beverage Assistant" at the Law Society, Holborn, London. Have owned my own business, designing and manufacturing photo frames! Sold work nationally and internationally to the likes of Conran shop, House of Fraser etc. Began teaching in 2000.

Mother and loyal partner. Maker/designer. Part time lecturer at Truro College. Sailor and boat owner. Novice bee keeper. Just started archery.
