Silver Metal Clay Rings Class
This is a two day class.
This class will focus on two methods for making silver metal clay rings. The flat band ring is made and decorated flat, then after firing, it is bent round. The ring can be left open - so the size can be adjusted easily - or it can intersect. You have complete design freedom to let your imagination flow.
The continuous band ring is more challenging as you will be making it to a specific size and also joining the band before firing. This type of ring can be embellished with stones, textures or patterns and the course cost includes a number of stones for you to experiment with.
After firing the rings will be polished and finished with a patina if you choose to do this.
The class is designed to give you the basic skills of ring making so you can go home and confidently design and make your own metal clay rings.
Things to consider before booking these courses...
This class is suitable for beginners in metal clay and those with some experience. Beginners may find some of the more advanced projects a little challenging but rest assured, you'll finish the weekend with at least two lovely rings to take home and impress your friends with!
