Current Occupation
I work part-time as an administrator and spend any spare minute of the day making jewellery to sell through craft fairs, shops and galleries. I would love to develop my jewellery range and make jewellery my full time occupation along with teaching.
Background, training and relevant experience
I have been making jewellery for as long as I can remember but developed my passion for it over the years by making pieces for family and friends. I am mainly self taught but have studied with the Mid Cornwall School of Jewellery and Cornwall College St Austell. I have been teaching workshops and classes over the last couple of years and recently completed my PTTLS course which has helped me to develop my teaching skills and ensure that the learner get the best experience. I have since starting teaching the Fashion Jewellery Course at Cornwall College St Austell.
Why you're looking forward to running classes at MCSJ and what you think about the school
After studying a beginners silversmithing course with MCSJ I have always found the environment there to be very inspiring and relaxing, to me, the perfect environment for getting creative and making jewellery. I am looking forward to getting to know new creative people and sharing my love of creating jewellery.

What you enjoy most about teaching your subject
I enjoy teaching the jewellery making courses, helping others to learn new skills and techniques.
What students can expect from attending your course
Students that attend one of my courses can expect to come away with some knowledge of the basics in jewellery making techniques along with several pieces of handmade jewellery that are unique and personal to them.
Your wishes for the coming year
For the next year I would love to learn new techniques to expand my jewellery making skills, create more individual and unique jewellery and promote my jewellery more throughout Cornwall.
