Vintage Bridal Headdresses and Tiara Class
This is a one day class
This is a course for complete beginners in jewellery-making to learn how to make beautiful, modern accessories for weddings. You will concentrate on tiaras and headdresses; but many of the techniques covered can be used to make special occasion jewellery such as necklaces, chokers, cuffs and hair-combs.
Raid your jewellery box (or you Mum's!) and bring along all the old brooches, odd earrings, beads and chain you don't really wear to make into a cool, recycled vintage headdress perfect for a special occasion or wedding day.
Combined with lace, silk flowers, freshwater pearls, antique glass beads and swarovski crystals you can make truly unique headdresses to properly match your dress.
Using useful techniques such as berry wirework, twisting and crocheting with wire you learn how to make your own design: you'll definitely leave with at least one headdress or tiara and there will probably be time to make matching earrings, necklace or cuff!
Your tutor for this class will be Sarah Drew. See Sarah's look-book of bridal headdresses and jewellery here - laid-back vintage looks in the woods for chilled out brides.
